2016 has been an incredible year and I’ve enjoyed documenting my journey through Interior Style Hunter. What I find fascinating is to see what you have enjoyed reading and engaging with on Instagram. This helps me to focus more on what you like to make this blog better.
So here is the best of 2016 interior design.
Interior Design Blog Posts
Starting with the top 5 most read interior design blog posts of 2016.
Topping the charts at number 1 was the interview that I did with Sarah Mitchenall who won the Great Interior Design challenge. This was so popular that my tech team needed to adjust the web hosting a couple of times on the day that it launched as the sheer volume of readers crashed the blog.
At number 2 was my interview with interior designer Sophie Paterson, it’s clear that Sophie’s style resonated with you and from the comments on social media and emails from you, I know that this post has inspired a lot of readers.
I did a few posts this year where I invited interior designers and tastemakers to take part. The 3rd most popular post of 2016, was a collective that covered the best living room ideas from the top 12 interior designers.
We’re off to Barcelona for number 4, the fabulous apartment that was designed by the Creative Director of Minotti, Anke Summerhill. It’s a fabulous space and the lighting in particular is one of my favourite aspects of the space.
I’m not surprised to see my interior design trend forecast for 2016 coming in as one of the most popular posts. I’m busy preparing the 2017 trend forecast at the moment and looking forward to sharing that shortly.
