Brands Interior Design

A quick look at 100% Design

26th September 2015

By now, you will have noticed for the past week that London Design Festival has been underway. Together with Decorex, 100% Design is the other major exhibition.

Aimed squarely at the design trade, this is where interior designers go to meet and network with businesses that supply the hard finishes. There was a small section for interiors, which was great, but the range of hard finishes and companies who provide bespoke services for interior designers was great. I certainly met a few interesting companies that would be great to call upon for my interior design clients.

I was at the show on Wednesday, but that was business related, so today I got to do some talking and networking and took a few pictures. I’m not going to call out brands here, but just hope you enjoy the images of the show.

Starting off with the beautiful hard material.

These are actually porcelain tiles, but look fabulous! I have a few clients who LOVE these. Porcelain tiles

Olympia is a fabulous venue for anything design related. There is so much space.

I love British design and always support local where I can, but it was interesting to see the materials and design that is coming out of China and Argentina.

The interiors section of the exhibition was the busiest section. Here are some images to give you an idea of what was on show.

These felt screens were such a clever idea. So many uses, childrens spaces, restaurants, coffee shops, retail etc. Custom made of course, so you can have your brand name or image cut out.

Lighting again – you can tell I have a thing about lighting…

A wooden bath. It really does look better in real life – it’s awesome actually.

I actually thought this was books and was trying to figure out how they painted on them, but when I got up close, I realised it was actually wallpaper! Love it!wallpaper
