Luxurious linen with Vis-à-vis London
Sophie was invited to design two linen collections with luxury linen company Vis-à-Vis for their Belgravia showroom. Inspired by her love of butterflies, the linen collection Sophie has designed embodies a calm and natural interior feel. The first design, featuring butterflies scattered across the print is inspired by Chinoiserie wallpaper. The second depicts close-up details of the butterfly wing on white cotton sateen, with added detailing of hand-guided embroideries.
Bespoke wallpaper design with Fromental
Fromental is a bespoke wallpaper company where Sophie has been inspired by Chinoiserie design to create Magnolia foliage adorned by natural features such as butterflies and birds. These picturesque designs are complemented by a colour palette of dusty pink and cream silk, accentuated further by metallic printed gold designs. The wallpaper designs by Sophie emphasise feminine beauty and glamour, perfect for adorning any sophisticated wall.
Upholstery collection with The Sofa & Chair Company
Another recent project by Sophie is her capsule collection with The Sofa and Chair Company. Included in the Sophie Paterson collection are a sofa, armchair, an end of bed bench and most excitingly, her first piece of case furniture. Sophie has designed an elegant bedside table inspired by art deco influences.
The ‘Ava’ armchair’s elegant curve design is emphasised by the exposed frame at the back. This compliments the ‘Cotswold’ sofa which exudes classical elegance, ensuring they fit stylishly together in any interior setting. The ‘Grace’ bench combines sweeping curves with clean straight lines to blend together Art Deco trends in a contemporary manner. The well-made design ensures a comfortable and luxurious seating experience.
