Today we’re going to splash some cash and look at an iconic UK interior brands. I like to think of Timothy Oulton as luxury ‘Brit Cool’. The pieces are bold, quirky and very masculine, and I do like that look.
Timothy started off in his father’s antiques store in the 70’s, but today, Timothy Oulton – the brand – is now represented in cities around the world. You can often spot his pieces in the homes designed by top designers.
I went to Harrods a few weeks ago to choose a few pieces for my 12 Days of Christmas and I decided on oversized quirky, wallart (and Alice in Wonderland inspired) Cards and the vibrant Serpentina sofa in Siren Rose velvet.
Starting with the Cards. These oversized playing cards (130cm high x 100cm wide) are a great way to add a fun and quirky piece of art to your home.
The Serpentine Sofa is very sexy piece of furniture and would make a great gift to your significant other. Inspired by the Chesterfield sofa, this luxurious sofa has been covered with Siren Rose velvet making it very tactile too.
I think that the Cards and the sofa go particularly well together too.
